Following our Community Consultation in 2022 we applied to the National Lottery for a grant to help us in moving forward with some of the suggestions you made.

We were successful in securing sufficient funds to enable us to apply for planning permission to replace the portacabin with a permanent structure, co-locate the library with the Canolfan and refurbishing the existing building creating space for more of the activities you said you would like to see.
The plans for the building were approved in October 2023. In the twelve months we have been working on this the cost of the construction has increased three fold when there is greater demand for reducing resources and limited funding.
