Important: Summer Parking Arrangements at Canolfan Beaumaris

As summer approaches, more people are using the Canolfan's facilities, increasing demand for parking. Last summer, many members who had booked classes struggled to find parking spaces.
To improve availability and ensure fair access, Masnach Canolfan will increase parking enforcement in the coming weeks. The aim is to keep the car parks operating smoothly and to help users avoid receiving Parking Charge Notices by following the parking terms and conditions.
Understanding Your Pass
(Effective 1st July 2026)
Parking passes lets holders park for free whilst they’re using the Canolfan, at work in the Canolfan, Library or Health Centre or engaged in Canolfan approved or sponsored activities. To keep spaces available for others, please remember: The "30-Minute Rule": Passes are valid for 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after your scheduled class, event, volunteer or work shift. Outside these times: Your pass isn't valid, and you’ll need to purchase a standard parking ticket. Sign In: Members must remember to sign in and out at reception with their membership card. This helps our enforcement team see that you’re here legitimately and prevents any accidental Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) being issued. Need more than 30 minutes? We know many of you like to socialise after class! If you need a little longer than the 30-minute grace period, just ask at reception when you arrive. Our staff have the discretion to extend your free parking time so you can enjoy your catch ups worry free.
EV Charging Spaces
Our six EV charging bays are reserved strictly for vehicles that are actively charging. If the car park is full and Members can't find another space they can park in an EV bay without using the chargers. If parked in one of the EV spaces they must inform the Canolfan staff immediately and agree to move their vehicle if someone needs to charge.
Blue Badge Parking
To comply with our responsibilities under the Equality Act, we have to ensure that the disabled spaces are only used by the disabled. There are two spaces in the Canolfan’s upper car park and the surgery provides two for Health Centre users/visitors accessed via the Canolfan’s middle car park. A valid Blue Badge must be displayed on the windscreen to use the Canolfan’s spaces and users must comply with Masnach’s parking terms and conditions. To ensure we comply with the law and to be fair to those who truly need them, any vehicle parked in our Disabled Spaces without an appropriate Blue Badge will be issued a PCN immediately.
