We are delighted to have officially become a Full Member of the Welsh Sports Association (WSA), marking a really exciting milestone for Canolfan Beaumaris as we continue to develop and strengthen our role as a community wellbeing hub. This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality sport, fitness and wellbeing opportunities for people across our community, while also building a sustainable future for the Canolfan.
Joining the WSA connects us with a much wider network across the sport and leisure sector in Wales, giving us the opportunity to collaborate, share learning and benefit from the experience and expertise of others working in the same field. It opens the door to valuable professional support, including access to specialist training, safeguarding and operational advice, as well as guidance from energy efficiency and legal partners.
Importantly, this membership also helps us explore new funding opportunities and strengthen our ability to secure investment at a time when many community organisations are facing financial pressure. Alongside these practical benefits, being part of the WSA network provides partnership opportunities and preferential services that will help us continue improving and maintaining our facilities.
Overall, this is a hugely positive step forward for Canolfan Beaumaris, and we are excited about the future as we work alongside the WSA and its members to support healthier, more active and more connected communities.
To celebrate our new WSA membership, there’s never been a better time to get involved in one of our sports sessions. Whether it’s intergenerational football, pickleball for all abilities, walking netball or table tennis, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Have a look at our sports programme to find your game. |
